Our area has a broad assortment of things to see and do and certainly enough if you came to stay busy, if not relax on our beautiful beach and just plain take it easy. But as points of interest we have Deep Sea Fishing, Charter Boat Rentals, Ski Rentals, or try your hand at Parasailing as the gentle Gulf air caresses your skin as our pristine Gulf passes you by, all are just a short distance from our Prime Location.

Our county has the most amount of Public Golf Courses on the West Coast of Florida and we have Public Tennis Courts on the Island. "Leftis Key" is my favorite either take a leisurely walk or meander on a twisting bicycle path, let nature and lush tropical growth pass you by as you watch nesting egrets and birds of all kinds in there natural environment.

If you wish theater we have "The Island Players Live Theater" or go for a short drive to the Van Wezel and see Broadway Shows or Live Ballet at the Asolo Theater. We have many fine restaurants to choose from one know more than 600ft or walking distance. There is one five star restaurant on the Island also, and over and above this one dress is casual as always.

At St. Armands Circle, we have fabulous world renowned Shop's, if that's not your fancy we have outlet malls and many great shopping centers. Ringling Museum of Art Houses one of finest collections of old Masters. Mote Marine, offers a close up glimpse of exciting sea life and endangered species. Explore Selby Gardens, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Crosley Mansion and the Gamble Mansion.

Also new to the area is the GWIZ interactive science center its hands on, entertaining to say the least, it challenges children of all ages in the areas of Physical Science, Earth Science, Technology and more.
