Country music star Tracy Byrd
chose Cedar Cove Resort & Cottages as the backdrop
for the music video to his chart topping "Just Let Me Be In Love".
"Just Let Me Be In Love" part of his "Ten Rounds
Album", reached #9 on Billboard's country top 100 in
2001. The video captures the true laid-back essence of
our Resort and the inspiring azure beauty of our Gulf.
The Innkeeper was flattered when Mr. Byrd's
producer Mr. Steve Lamar asked her if she would like to be in the video. "Of course she said why not, what an everlasting memory it will be." Mr. Lamar commented after the shoot that he "was very impressed with the decor of the suites."
Coincidentally on the day that Mr. Byrd came
were conducting a beach wedding and we were
playing "Keeper of the Stars" (it was named song of the year by
the
A.C.M. and helped push his album
"No Ordinary Man" to Two Million in Sales)
Cedar Cove Resort and staff wishes Tracy the

Tracy's music video was filmed at Cedar Cove Resort and Cottages, Egmont key and other locations on Anna Maria Island Florida.
