Where is Cedar Cove?
Cedar Cove Resort & Cottages is at 2710 Gulf Drive North in Holmes Beach, on Anna Maria Island, Florida. The free island trolley stops right out front.
Is there a swimming pool?
No. Cedar Cove has no pool. The resort sits directly on a private stretch of Gulf beach, with lounge chairs and umbrellas for every guest.
Is there a restaurant or bar?
No. There's no restaurant or bar on site. Every suite and cottage has a kitchen or kitchenette. The Beach Boutique sells beer, wine, canned cocktails, soft drinks, ice, ColdSnap soft serve and frozen drinks (with or without alcohol) under a retail license, to enjoy on the beach, at the tiki huts or in your suite. There are places to eat a few minutes' walk along Gulf Drive, and the front desk can tell you what's open and good.
What is the Beach Club?
The Beach Club is our private beach area, with lounge chairs, umbrellas, two tiki huts and BBQ grills. It isn't a bar.
When were the rooms last renovated?
Every suite and cottage was fully renovated in November and December 2025, and several buildings got new roofs in summer 2026.
Are all the rooms on the beach?
The Resort Side sits directly on the private beach. The Cottages are just across Gulf Drive, a short walk from the sand. The Beach Front King Suites, Palm Penthouse and Sand Castle Penthouse have unobstructed beachfront views and balconies.
Is there an elevator?
No. Upper floors and the penthouses are reached by stairs. Ground-floor options include the Coral Reef and Sunset suites and most cottages; each room page and the resort map show the floor.
What's included with every stay?
Cruiser bikes, beach umbrellas, lounge chairs and beach towels, Wi-Fi, one parking space per room, hammocks, tiki huts with BBQ grills, the bocce court, the guest library and day passes to an off-site fitness center. Book direct and the resort fee is waived.
Are the beach cabanas free?
Beach cabanas and golf carts are available to rent. Ask the front desk.
What are check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is from 3pm and checkout is at 10am. The front desk is open 8:30am to 4:30pm, with staff on call after hours. Arriving after the front desk closes? Call ahead and we'll arrange after-hours self check-in.
Is there daily housekeeping?
Suites are serviced vacation-rental style: daily linen service is available upon request, extended stays get weekly housekeeping, and clean towels are always available.
Is there a guest laundry?
Yes. A coin-operated guest laundry is open in the evenings, and change is available at the office.
Can I charge an electric car?
Yes. There's a Tesla / EV charging station on site.
How do I get around the island?
The free trolley runs the length of Anna Maria Island from about 6am to 10:30pm, roughly every 20 minutes, and stops in front of the resort. You can also borrow a cruiser bike or rent a golf cart.
Is there a package for couples?
Yes.
